Let’s face it, people love sweets. Everyone has a sweet tooth. One of the biggest trends in weddings this year is the alternative sweet table. A lot of wedding couples are thinking outside of the box and are bringing in non-traditional sweets.
The choices today are endless. The trend started about 15 years ago with chocolate fountains and has since shifted to live crepe stations, live banana foster stations, liquid nitrogen ice cream stations, cupcakes, and one of our favorite national franchises Nothing Bundt Cakes. Their cakes are so delicious.
Even wedding favors have gone sweeter. Gone are the candy coated almonds and a piece of take home cake that our parents and grandparents had at their weddings, they have been replaced by the towering wall of donuts. Statistics show that over 10 billion donuts are made per year in the U.S. alone so there is no question that people love donuts.
